When charging at European public DC fast-charging stations, a CCS2 to NACS adapter is required.
This adapter bridges the gap between Europe’s CCS Combo 2 plug and your vehicle’s NACS inlet.
It supports both DC fast charging and AC charging.
In DC mode, it can deliver up to 250 kW or more, allowing for efficient high-speed charging on compatible chargers.
For AC home or public charging, it works with single-phase setups.
👉 Important Note for Cybertruck Owners:
Because the Cybertruck’s charge port is narrower than that of the Model 3 or Model Y, standard CCS2–NACS adapters may not fit properly. This can cause the vehicle to fail to detect the charging connection.
For this reason, you’ll need a special extended-version CCS2 to NACS adapter, designed specifically to accommodate the Cybertruck’s recessed port.
Recommended Product:
🔌 CCS2 to NACS Adapter (AC + DC Combo, for Cybertruck, 500A / 1000V)
Perfect for using public DC fast chargers across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and other CCS2 regions.
For home or private charging, the Cybertruck and other imported Teslas can also charge using Type 2-based AC chargers, provided you have the right adapter.
There are two primary options:
This compact adapter is ideal for connecting your car to a standard AC wall charger or home charging station.
Supports AC charging only.
Compatible with most European single-phase Type 2 wallboxes.
Offers up to 7 kW (32A, 230V single-phase) charging power.
Recommended Product:
⚙️ Type 2 to NACS AC Adapter
Designed for European Type 2 home charging stations, delivering safe and stable power to NACS vehicles.
If you frequently use public AC chargers, this integrated charging cable provides a direct connection without extra adapters.
Supports single-phase 32A (up to 7 kW).
Compatible with public AC charging posts throughout Europe.
Simple plug-and-charge operation.
Recommended Product:
🔋 Type 2 to NACS Charging Cable
Ideal for daily charging in public or semi-public areas like parking lots and office stations.
While the Cybertruck’s onboard charger (OBC) technically supports up to 11 kW AC charging, it is limited by single-phase compatibility in Europe.
Therefore:
On a 32A single-phase outlet → max power ≈ 7 kW
On a 16A single-phase outlet → max power ≈ 3.5 kW
Charging from 20% to 80% on a 16A socket could take up to 30 hours — so a dedicated wallbox and high-quality cable are strongly recommended.
Tesla’s Supercharger network in Europe uses CCS2 connectors and communicates with vehicles through Tesla’s regional authentication system.
Unfortunately, North American Teslas (including Cybertruck imports) are not registered in Europe’s Tesla network.
This means:
The Supercharger will not recognize your vehicle.
The charging session will fail to start, even with a physical adapter.
👉 Solution:
Use third-party CCS2 public DC networks that do not require vehicle verification — your MCEVKELN CCS2 to NACS adapter will ensure full compatibility.
If you’re using a Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector, you must:
Switch the wallbox to “Compatibility Mode” via the Tesla app, or
Download the Tesla One App, scan the wallbox QR code, and manually configure the charging mode.
Without this setting change, the wallbox may not recognize your imported Tesla vehicle.
At MCEVKELN, we help EV owners bridge the gap between global charging standards.
Our lineup of NACS-compatible adapters and cables allows Cybertruck and North American Tesla owners to charge conveniently across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Southeast Asia, Egypt, and Brazil.
Whether you need DC fast charging or AC home charging, our adapters are engineered for safety, performance, and compatibility.
